Kids Cute Drawings of My Characters

As you may remember, I visited my sister’s 2nd grade classroom as a guest speaker, talking about my career as an artist and sharing some of the children’s books I’ve illustrated… 

My sister had her students write me thank you’s for coming! They were all so cute! I was really surprised and tickled to see that some of the kids drew my characters!! Here’s a few of Misha, the three-legged dog in Misha’s Message of Pawsitvity. 

And here’s a couple more great drawings of Misha, the chocolate lab! It was sweet to read from some of them that this is their favorite story! 

And lastly, here’s some drawings from the students of Sparky, my star character in The Stellar Way. This was also a favorite book that I shared with them. 

It made me feel so special that my illustrations (and the stories) resonated with the children so much. It gives me a boost of motivation that I’m doing work that matters! I’m riding the positive vibes! :D
