I was wondering what a snake would look if he had buck teeth… and then this drawing came out of it. I thought it would be a great contrast for him to be a bush viper, since they have pointed scales, with the blunt, rounded teeth. Sketched with Prismacolor Col-erase pencil, then inked with Staedtler Tripus Fineliner, then colored with a combination of Letraset Aquamarkers, Winsor & Newton watercolor markers, and Hobby Lobby twin tip markers. To finish it off, I thought it would be fun to blur the jungle background a little afterwards.
