Beware of the FrankenPlatypus!!! You can make a unique character by taking a familiar concept, like Frankenstein, and then combining it with something unexpected.
A snub alien pilot and a kid alien in awe of him. For artists, 2 contrasting character shapes/sizes can make a much more interesting composition. And drawing the kid’s eyes big makes him more adorable.
